Experience

Research Assistant St. John’s, NL, Canada
Research Project: "Revisionist Integral Deferred Correction Methods with Application to Moving Mesh Strategies".
- Developed a time-parallel algorithm to solve time-dependent partial differential equations (PDEs).
- Used low-order methods for time integration and expected higher-order solutions because of parallelism
- Used Moving Mesh Methods for spatial discretization and parallel methods for time discretization
- Wrote codes for the algorithm in C++ and MATLAB and ran the simulations using some practical problems
- Tested the C++ codes using a software called RIDC to see the impact of parallelism in the methods
- Visualized the results in MATLAB to see the impact of the moving mesh
- Concluded with the finding that time parallel methods can give higher-order solutions using low-order integrators.
- Worked as a tutor at the Math help centre.
- Graded assignments and exam papers of undergraduate Mathematics courses.
- Uploaded students' grade to D2L.
- Helped course instructors in final exams invigilation.
Call Center Customer Service Associate St. John’s, NL, Canada
